Management / Quality

Make quality requirements clear—and act on deviations.

Quality control works best when the supplier knows what will be checked before production starts. EPIC helps translate product requirements into agreed checks, then coordinates the review of defects and corrective actions.

What the work involves

Quality starts before the final inspection.

A late defect report leaves fewer options. We connect quality expectations with sample approvals and production follow-up, so that checks are relevant to the product and issues can be discussed while there is still time to act.

01

Acceptance criteria

Clarify the agreed specification, approved sample, visual requirements, dimensions, functional checks and packaging expectations relevant to the project.

02

Check planning & coordination

Define the agreed checkpoints and the evidence needed to support a decision. Coordinate with the supplier and any specialist inspection or test providers where required.

03

Defect documentation

Record the issue, supporting evidence and the affected requirement. Distinguish confirmed deviations from points that still need technical review.

04

Corrective action follow-up

Discuss containment, rework or other corrective options with the supplier. Track agreed actions and identify the information needed for your approval.

A defined scope. Tangible outputs.

What you can work with.

Useful when you are preparing a first production run, need quality follow-up on an existing order, or want help resolving defects with a Chinese supplier.

The deliverables below are examples. Your proposal defines the scope, responsibilities and outputs for your project.

  • A defined scope of checks and acceptance references
  • A record of findings and supporting evidence
  • An open-issue list with responsibilities and next actions
  • A documented quality review before the agreed release decision
Before we begin

Questions worth asking.

Do you provide regulatory certification or laboratory testing?

Specialist testing and certification needs must be identified separately. EPIC can coordinate relevant project information and partners where agreed; the quality-control scope does not itself certify regulatory compliance.

Can you help if goods have already failed a quality check?

Yes. We first review the specification, findings, production status and supplier response. The mission can then focus on evidence, corrective options and the follow-up needed for a decision.

Who decides whether the goods can ship?

The project scope should identify approval responsibilities. EPIC reports findings and coordinates actions; the release decision follows the responsibilities and criteria agreed with the client.

What do you need to make happen in China?

A new supplier, a product to develop, a production issue or an order to manage. Tell us where you are and what needs to move forward.
